Monasaba 2026 FIFA World Cup Prediction Giveaway
Drafted to Canadian promotional-contest standards (Criminal Code ss. 206–207; Competition Act s. 74.06; Competition Bureau guidelines). We recommend a final review by legal counsel before the contest opens.
1. Sponsor
This Contest is sponsored by Monasaba (the "Sponsor"). For any question regarding this Contest, contact us at Info@monasaba.ca or 855-619-3331. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup™, or any participating team, federation, or broadcaster.
2. No Purchase Necessary
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. The free online entry form at monasaba-world-cup.vercel.app is the sole and standard method of entry for all entrants; no purchase, store visit, or other consideration is required at any stage.
3. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry (18 in Ontario; 19 in Nova Scotia and certain other provinces). Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
4. Contest Period
The Contest opens on the launch date announced by the Sponsor and closes for entries at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on July 4, 2026 (the "Entry Deadline"). Entries submitted after the Entry Deadline are void. Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper.
5. How to Enter
During the Contest Period, visit monasaba-world-cup.vercel.app and complete the entry form with your full name, email address, mobile number, and your single prediction of the national team that will win the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Limit one (1) entry per person, identified by unique email address and mobile number; duplicate entries are void. Each valid entrant receives a unique entry number used to identify winners at the draw.
6. Prizes
A total of 5 prizes are available, with a total approximate retail value (ARV) of CAD $2,750:
- Grand Prize (1): CAD $1,500 cash, paid in person. The winner must show valid proof of Canadian residency to collect. ARV CAD $1,500.
- Runner-Up (1): CAD $500 Monasaba catering credit. ARV CAD $500.
- Catering Credit (3): CAD $250 Monasaba catering credit each. ARV CAD $250 each (CAD $750 total).
7. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entrants who correctly predict the World Cup champion. Predicting the champion does not by itself win a prize — it makes an entrant eligible for the random draw.
8. Winner Selection — Random Draw
On or about July 19, 2026, following the World Cup Final, the Sponsor will identify all entrants whose prediction matches the actual World Cup champion ("Eligible Entrants"). From the Eligible Entrants, 5 potential winners will be selected by random draw and assigned, in the order drawn, to: one (1) Grand Prize, one (1) Runner-Up, and three (3) Catering Credit prizes. If no entrant correctly predicts the champion, the random draw will instead be conducted among all valid entrants. Prizes will be distributed without undue delay following winner confirmation.
9. Winner Notification
Selected entrants will be notified using the email and/or mobile number provided at entry, within 14 days of the draw. A selected entrant who cannot be contacted, does not respond within 14 days of first notification, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or fails the skill-testing question forfeits the prize, and an alternate will be selected by random draw from the remaining Eligible Entrants. Entrants are solely responsible for providing accurate, current contact information; the Sponsor is not responsible for any inability to contact a selected entrant due to inaccurate or incomplete information.
10. Skill-Testing Question
As a condition of being declared a winner and receiving any prize, each selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided and without mechanical or electronic assistance, a time-limited multi-step mathematical skill-testing question administered at the time of notification.
11. Identity Verification, Declaration & Publicity
Before a prize is awarded, the Sponsor may require a selected entrant to provide government-issued identification to verify name, age, and province of residence; failure or refusal to verify eligibility results in forfeiture. A selected entrant may also be required to sign and return a declaration of eligibility, liability release, and (where permitted) publicity consent within 14 days. By entering, winners consent to the Sponsor publishing their entry number and first name in connection with announcing results. Use of a winner's full name, photograph, or likeness for advertising will only occur with the winner's separate consent, which may be declined.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected is used solely to administer this Contest and, where an entrant has expressly opted in, to send marketing communications (from which the entrant may unsubscribe at any time). The Sponsor handles personal information in accordance with PIPEDA, does not sell entrant information, and retains it only as long as necessary for the Contest and applicable legal requirements. Any marketing messages are sent only to entrants who have given express consent (in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, CASL) and every message includes an unsubscribe option. Privacy inquiries: Info@monasaba.ca. See our Privacy Policy.
13. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates, employees, and agents from any liability for any loss, injury, or damage — including indirect or consequential damages — arising from participation in the Contest, the use or misuse of any prize, or any technical malfunction, or lost, late, or misdirected entries. Each entrant agrees to indemnify the Sponsor against any claim arising from that entrant's participation or breach of these Rules.
14. Social Media
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or any other platform. By entering, participants release these platforms from any liability and agree that any questions, comments, or complaints must be directed to the Sponsor, not to the platform.
15. General Conditions
The Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, or amend the Contest, or to disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, automated, or in violation of these Rules. The Sponsor is not responsible for events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure). By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Sponsor may disqualify, and pursue all available remedies against, any person who tampers with the entry process, uses automated means or multiple identities/accounts, or otherwise acts in bad faith. In the event of a dispute over an online entry, the entry is deemed submitted by the authorized holder of the email address provided.
16. Governing Law
This Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
